Elena, You have someone in complete agreement with you. We too have sailed the world (four times) and have explored many beaches. The best by far is in the beautiful Caribbean where the water is crystal clear and the most fantastic turquoise hue.
Do you have a favorite beach or site? What comes to my mind is a tiny beach on St. John called Hawks Nest Bay (I’m sure there are others). Here’s where I had to gasp as I emerged from the tropical growth onto the beach. Nothing commercial, just sand and water that will blow anyone’s mind.
